sunspot100: OK, geek-question: Do Marvel consider Storm an Omega-level mutant? And is there any reason the term's never been defined..?

We’ve never seen any evidence to indicate that Storm is an Omega-level mutant.

She recently created an aurora borealis that covered the earth and lasted a week as a way of venting her grief.

She declined to save an entire city from drought (though she could), because that would mean transferring the water from somewhere else.

She can basically destroy the planet because she’s in a bad mood.

What… what more does it take?

to be an omega you gotta like…warp reality and some shit. sure, she can control the entire weather system of the planet, but like you said shes gotta pull water from somewhere else to make it rain. shes controlling weather, not creating it.

like dont feel bad, Magneto isn’t even an “omega level” as powerful as he is
